The LIFE Programme is the European Commission’s main financial instrument for funding Pilot Environmental Projects in Member States. LIFE Funding is awarded yearly, and funding levels are 30% or 50% according to whether the Project is profit-making or not. Project HEATSUN is not a profit-making project, so has an EU Grant of 50% of eligible costs. |
